Hello, I'm Deanna!

My photography journey began just shy of twenty years ago (whaaaat?!) when I was hired by an equine event photographer - during this time, I was able to use my graphic design training and was taught the basics of being behind the cameras. I fell in love with capturing horse show action and equine involved portraits. My passion for teaching and horses developed into a full time adventure and I set the cameras down in 2018.

however, it didn't end there...

As my equine education chapter came to a close in 2022, I decided it was time to revisit my photography career, this time focusing on portraits (still some with horses of course!) and weddings.  I poured as much time as possible each day before launching my business into refreshing skills I already had, learning new ones, and assisting some amazing photographers with their wedding coverage.  

so then what?

The dream developed to offer FUN, candid, relaxing, and memorable sessions for my clients. It is my mission to learn your story and your style so I can guide you from ¨start to art¨ and offer a custom one-of-a-kind experience capturing your memories and filling the walls of your home. Whether it is your maternity session, a family affair, your senior student, or your wedding day, we will be sure to create artwork that will trigger your best memories and beautify your home for years and years.

But wait, there's more!

2024 is just over halfway over already... back in April I saw a teeny tiny studio space come up for rent, but after returning from working an out of state wedding, it had been rented for an insurance office space (I think, anyways?). Well just recently it had seemed the for rent sign was back in the window. I knew it was a sign (literally haha). I reached out on July 2nd, took a look on July 5th, and got the keys on July 12th. I'm actually sitting here starting at all the stuff I've moved in here in the last week as I write this.

THAT'S RIGHT, DJP NOW HAS AN INDOOR STUDIO AND OFFICE SPACE !!!!
